Our practice group represents institutional lenders including Schedule I and Schedule II Banks as well as private lenders. Our team members have a wealth of experience in securing both real property and personal property assets. We also advise our clients regarding the complex legal issues involved in securing specialty assets including intellectual property, ships governed under the Canada Shipping Act, licenses and quotas. We assist our clients in structuring security requirements and drafting loan documentation and security agreements. Our expertise extends to obtaining security both in Canada and abroad to protect our clients' interests. We also act for clients in multi-party financing arrangements which requires negotiation and resolution of priority issues as well as inter-creditor agreements.
